“A very special mountaintop vacation. The kind of place you dream about. Luxury hotel with wonderful views and a relaxing atmosphere. Access via cable car included in the room rate. Upon arrival at the mountain station, hotel staff greet you and bring your luggage to your room. Check-in is very relaxed and you receive a tour of the property. Rooms are comfortable with a balcony, comfortable beds, shower and bathtub. Bathrobes and slippers are provided. Pool and sauna are wonderful, with an indoor/outdoor whirlpool. The spa offers many massages and treatments. Every evening there is a reception with prosecco, apple cider and canapés. The restaurant is very good. Breakfast is sensational with fresh goat's milk, freshly sliced ham, eggs to order, prosecco, fruit, cheese and bread. After two nights, we didn't want to leave. We can't wait to return – this was already our second visit.”

Staff could effortlessly switch between German, Italian and English – a unique cultural trait of South Tyrol. What we appreciated most was the calm and serene environment, far away from the mundane noise of the city. The textile-free sauna was wonderful and we enjoyed a few massages and facials. The views from the hotel were fantastic. The food was excellent and, while expensive, not unfairly priced for the quality. The breakfast buffet was pleasant and both restaurants were excellent. It is a high-class treat, but not pompous or flashy. The focus is on tranquility, quality and attention to detail – absolutely worth it.”

Your room will be ready from 3:00 PM. Upon departure, we kindly ask you to vacate the room by 11:00 AM. On request and subject to availability, we offer an early check-in or late check-out for an additional charge.
The vigilius mountain resort is located at 1,500 m above sea level and can only be reached by cable car. You can park your car free of charge in the hotel's own garage at the valley station (Seilbahnstation Vigiljoch, Villenerweg 3, Lana). The cable car staff will be informed of your arrival and will hand you your personal tickets.
Cancellations made up to 14 days before arrival are free of charge and the deposit will be refunded. For cancellations 13–7 days before arrival, the deposit (30%) will be retained. For later cancellations, 80% of the booked arrangement will be charged; in case of no-show, the full amount will be billed. Cancellations are only accepted in writing.
Yes, your dog is most welcome! The fee is €45.00 per day (excluding food). Please note that dogs are not allowed in the breakfast room, Restaurant 1500, or the spa area, and must wear a muzzle in the cable car. Up to five dogs can be accommodated at the vigilius at the same time.
Yes, in addition to the accommodation price, a municipal tourist tax of €3.10 per person (aged 14 and over) per night is charged. The tourist tax can only be paid on site.
You can park your car free of charge in the hotel's own garage or car park at the valley station in Lana. EV charging stations are located at the entrance of the parking garage and can be used with your own charging card for a fee. Please reserve a parking space for your electric vehicle in advance.
Yes, all rooms offer free wireless internet access from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM. In addition, a terminal for free internet use is available in the library.
